What this tool actually does

Your Markdown is converted to HTML first, then rendered into a genuine PDF file by a real PDF-generation library running on the server — the same class of tool used in countless PHP invoicing and reporting systems. Headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, lists, blockquotes, links, and code blocks all carry over.

Honest limitations

This is a lightweight, dependency-light PDF engine chosen specifically because it works on ordinary shared hosting without Composer. It produces clean, readable documents well suited to reports, notes, articles, and documentation — but it is not a full browser rendering engine, so very complex tables or unusual layouts may come out simpler than in a browser preview. For plain-text-driven documents (which is most Markdown), this is not a practical concern.
